CURRENCY

The euro is the official currency in France. Bank notes come in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 euros. Coin values are 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cents, 1 and 2 euros. Most international credit cards are widely accepted for payment in hotels, restaurants and shops, except for American Express credit cards which are less accepted. Foreign currency may be changed at banks, hotels, airports and in exchange offices. ATM machines are easily available throughout the city and at the airport.

SAFETY & SECURITY

Follow the same rules of safety you follow while travelling anywhere else:

  • Keep your travel documents in your hotel safe deposit box
  • Always carry the hotel address with you when you leave the hotel
  • Do not leave personal items (bags, mobile phones, etc.) unattended

LETTER OF INVITATION

We will send you a letter of invitation upon request. Please note that this letter of invitation does not commit the congress organisers to any kind of financial support or hosting arrangements, nor does it guarantee an entry visa. The congress organizers will not contact embassies or consulates on your behalf.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

A certificate of attendance can be printed in the registration area from Saturday April 6 in the afternoon (the exact time will be communicated during the congress).
